Place: Central United Methodist Church (that's right, I'm plugging my chuch!)
Time: Sunday morning
Situation: Andrew is coloring and working on the children's bulletin. He is in 3k and has just started learning to read a few 2 or 3 letter words.
Me (pointing to the word "God"): "Andrew, do you know what this says?"
Andrew: ponders for a while "Dog!"
Me (impressed): "Well, that's pretty close. It says 'God.' Ed, did you hear that?"
Ed (not quite as impressed): "Yeah. Our son's dyslexic."
Me: "No, he's FOUR!"
It's amazing how quickly Andrew is learning!
On another note, Jacob has started to roll from his tummy to his back, although I don't know that he actually has too much control over when it happens. He always looks a little surprised.
