Poor Jacob doesn't get nearly enough blogging space. It's not that I love him any less, it's just that he doesn't talk yet so he doesn't say funny things (or smear poop on the wall, as the case may be)! So here is my Jacob-only blog for the day.
The child smiles ALL DAY LONG. Seriously, he is the happiest kid ever. He is still bald and the ladies at daycare call him "Slick." He has a girlfriend named Hailey at daycare. They are the closest development-wise in his class, so they play and then fight. They steal toys from one another and hit each other. He uses his binky with us but apparently never at daycare. Ms. Lil and Ms. Frankie said they broke him from that habit but he knows Mommy is a sucker and will give it to him if he is pitiful enough. (To be fair, Daddy is a sucker too.) He doesn't meet a stranger. If you attempt to pick him up, he will reach for you, whether or not he has ever met you before. He stands up by himself very well, but hasn't taken any steps yet. He doesn't seem very interested in walking because he is an expert crawler. He likes to eat big-boy food but as soon as he is full he will spit it back out at you. He is very good at blowing "raspberries" and spraying you with food. He still loves his bottle and holds it all by himself so I am a little concerned about transitioning to a sippy cup. It is about time to start working on that so I'm sure I'll be blogging about that soon!
